SLUM SURVIVOR

Last weekend there was a Slum Survivor event with the younger of the church. They built a slum and had to live there for three days with rationed food and water. They had many activities, challenges and Bible studies about some subjects like: knowing God, HIV, child’s traffic and the last one that I took was beatitudes and myths. Through this event we could get money to send to an organization call SoulAction, who helps people that are living in slum around the world.

Como eu havia dito, semana passada realizamos o Slum Survivor com os jovens da igreja. Eles construiram um barraco com restos de madeira, papelao e plastico. Eles passaram tres dias morando nesse barraco com alimentacao e agua racionada, ou seja, sem banho. Nao foi muito fácil para eles, pois choveu quase todos os dias e fez muito frio, mas eles sobreviveram. Eles tiveram muitas atividades, desafios e estudos bíblicos sobre alguns assuntos como: conhecendo Deus, HIV, trafico de crianca e As bem aventurancas e mitos, estudo que eu liderei. Atraves desse evento podemos arrecadar dinheiro para enviar para um organizacao chamada SoulAction, que ajuda familias que estao morando em barracos ao redor do mundo.
